What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a system of assessment, diagnosis and treatment to prevent pain in the body. It is suitable for almost everyone and treatment can consist of joint manipulation and articulation and soft tissue techniques, stretching to reduce pain and help improve function.
Osteopaths have an in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology and are highly-skilled musculoskeletal experts that deals with people who have acute or chronic pain. We take the whole lifestyle into consideration and look at the person as a whole and use manual techniques to help them. I am keen to find the root cause of the problem to enable pain relief.

What to bring for the consultation:
We recommend that you wear something comfortable that will accommodate the examination and treatment such as shorts and a vest or a sports bra.
We also ask you bring a list of any medications you are taking and any results from recent tests or investigations.
We want you to feel relaxed and at ease, so if you would like to bring someone else along to the appointment, you are welcome to do so.
